Escudero emphasized that the SSMSPP will create a transparent and standardized selection process for promotions, guaranteeing that every Senate employee is given a fair chance to advance. "This plan is a significant step towards fostering a meritocratic culture within the Senate, where promotions are based on clear and equitable criteria," Escudero stated.
The policy signing was attended by several Senate officials, including Senate Secretary Renato N. Bantug Jr., and representatives from the Samahan ng Empleyadong Nagkakaisa sa Adhikain at Demokratikong Organisasyon (S.E.N.A.D.O.), led by Rosel Eugenio. This collective effort underscores the Senate's commitment to promoting a fair and inclusive work environment for all its employees.
