Congratulations to the New Master Plumbers of 2024!
If you are one of the 1,594 out of 3,594 who passed the Master Plumbers Licensure Examination this February 2024, then you have every reason to celebrate! You have just achieved a remarkable feat that proves your competence and skill in the plumbing profession.
The Master Plumbers Licensure Examination is one of the most challenging and rigorous exams in the country, covering topics such as plumbing arithmetic, plumbing design, plumbing code, plumbing installation, and plumbing maintenance. The exam is administered by the Board for Master Plumbers, composed of Hon. Reynald B. Ilagan, Chairman; Hon. Pedrito D. Camilet, Jr. and Hon. Jaime Jajay E. Cruz, Members.
The exam was held in various testing centers across the country, namely N. C. R., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales and Tacloban. The results were released in just two (2) working days after the last day of examination, which shows the efficiency and dedication of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
As a new master plumber, you are now eligible to apply for the issuance of your Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration. To do so, you need to register online at the PRC website (www.prc.gov.ph) and follow the instructions for initial registration. You also need to prepare the following requirements: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope. You should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The PRC will announce the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new master plumbers soon. This will be a momentous occasion where you will swear to uphold the ethical standards and professional responsibilities of your chosen career. You will also receive your official documents and join the ranks of the licensed master plumbers in the country.
