Commission on Higher Education Announces CoScho Scholarship Program for AY 2024-2025

Starting March 1, 2024, until May 31, 2024, eligible students can submit their applications to the respective CHED Regional Offices (CHEDRO). The program is accessible through various CHEDROs across the country, including regions I to XII, CARAGA, and MIMAROPA.

The CoScho scholarship is dedicated to undergraduate students who are either registered coconut farmers in the National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS) or their dependents. The scholarship covers various academic programs, particularly those related to agriculture, such as agricultural engineering, agribusiness management, and agricultural economics, among others identified by the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA).

Applicants will be evaluated and selected based on their fulfillment of the requirements outlined in the CHED and PCA Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1, series of 2023, with consideration given to the availability of slots and funds.

For further inquiries, CHED encourages potential applicants to reach out to the CHED Regional Offices. Contact details and additional information can be found on the CHED official website at www.ched.gov.ph.

This initiative underscores CHED’s commitment to fostering educational opportunities for the agricultural sector and supporting the nation’s coconut farmers and their families.
