GRANT OF THE PERFORMANCE-BASED BONUS FOR YEAR 2022
Good news for all public school teachers and staff! The Department of Education (DepEd) has announced that the Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) for Year 2022 is in the process for release.
The PBB is a merit-based incentive given to eligible employees who have met the performance targets and indicators set by the DepEd and the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Harmonization of National Government Performance Monitoring, Information and Reporting Systems (IATF).
The PBB aims to motivate and reward exemplary performance, foster teamwork and accountability, and improve the quality of education services.
To qualify for the PBB, employees must meet the following criteria:
- They must have obtained at least a satisfactory rating in their Individual Performance Commitment and Review Form (IPCRF) for SY-2021-2022.
- They must have complied with the submission of the School Report Card (SRC) and other required reports.
- They must have no pending administrative or criminal case.
- They must have no adverse audit findings or observations.
To facilitate the processing and release of the PBB, the DepEd Regional Office hereby informs all School Heads of the following:
- They must submit the approved School OPCRF for SY-2021-2022 not later than March 15, 2024. The School OPCRF is a tool that measures the collective performance of the school personnel based on the school’s vision, mission, goals, and objectives.
- They must fill-in the form and upload a scan file copy of the approved OPCRF per school on the following link: https://bit.ly/3NSlygN
- They must ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data and documents submitted. Any discrepancy or inconsistency may cause delay or forfeiture of the PBB.
- They must coordinate with their respective PSDS/APSDS for the validation and monitoring of the report. The PSDS/APSDS are tasked to verify and endorse the report to the Regional Office.
The DepEd Regional Office will consolidate and evaluate the report and submit it to the Central Office for further review and approval. The Central Office will then forward the report to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) for the allocation and release of funds.
The DepEd assures all its employees that it is doing its best to expedite the grant of the PBB. It also appeals for the cooperation and support of all stakeholders in complying with the requirements and adhering to the guidelines.
The DepEd recognizes and appreciates the hard work and dedication of all its employees in delivering quality education to the Filipino learners. The PBB is one way of expressing its gratitude and rewarding its outstanding performers.
