GSIS Members, Seize the Chance to Settle Your Loans with RPSL Today!
In an unprecedented move, the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has rolled out the Restructuring Program for Service Loans (RPSL), offering a lifeline to members overwhelmed by loan penalties and surcharges. The RPSL stands as a testament to GSIS’s commitment to providing flexible and compassionate financial solutions.
The program is designed to assist a wide range of borrowers, including inactive members who have left the service, old-age pensioners, previous RPSL beneficiaries, and active members with outstanding GSIS debts exceeding six months. With options to pay in full or on an installment basis, the RPSL offers condonation of penalties and surcharges, making the path to financial stability more accessible than ever.
Members can opt for down payments ranging from 10% to 75%, with corresponding interest rates for the remaining balance as low as 3%. The payment period stretches from 1 to 5 years, ensuring that every member can find a plan that suits their needs.
To apply, members must submit the following:
- A completed application form
- A photocopy of their GSIS eCard or two valid government-issued IDs
- A Special Power of Attorney if applying through a representative
- Updated contact information
Applications can be submitted through various channels, including GSIS branches, courier services, email, or the eGSISMO platform. Payments can be made at any GSIS branch, accredited partner payment centers, or through UnionBank or LandBank mobile or web apps.
The GSIS encourages all eligible members to take advantage of the RPSL and start their journey towards financial freedom. For more information, members can visit the GSIS website or contact their local GSIS office.
