Health Update on President Marcos Jr. and First Lady: Recovery in Progress
The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) has announced that President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is on the mend after a bout of flu-like symptoms. According to the PCO’s latest update, the President’s health is improving, and he is expected to resume his full public duties soon, subject to his doctor’s approval.
The President and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos have been under medical supervision after developing flu-like symptoms, likely due to their recent packed schedule. Despite the illness, President Marcos Jr. has been working from his residence, managing official correspondence and directives, all while adhering to medical guidelines.
The First Couple’s symptoms have been described as improving, with stable vital signs, and they have been advised to continue with their medication, rest, and hydration to ensure a complete recovery. Their attending physician has recommended ample rest to expedite their return to health.
President Marcos Jr. and the First Lady have had a busy month, having just returned from successful diplomatic visits to Germany and the Czech Republic. Their schedule included participation in the World Economic Forum and a meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on March 18 and 19.
The nation eagerly awaits the President’s full recovery and return to his leadership duties, as the PCO assures the public of his imminent return to active engagement.
