Vice President Sara Duterte Speaks Out Against “Black Propaganda”
Vice President Sara Duterte has issued a strong condemnation of what she calls “black propaganda” directed at her and the government agencies under her leadership. In a video message, Duterte characterized the slander as “intense, outrageous, and desperate,” indicative of an orchestrated campaign to undermine her integrity by labeling her as “corrupt, abusive, a traitor, and a warlord.”
Following a period of accumulating reports about her name and the names of the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Education being exploited in scams, Duterte has publicly refuted the accusations. She specifically addressed the claims of her involvement in extrajudicial killings in Davao City and the acceptance of firearms from Apollo Quiboloy.
Duterte also mentioned previous issues that have been brought up, including the confidential fund controversy, her convoy’s alleged disruption of traffic on Commonwealth Avenue, and the scrutiny over the security detail for her office.
She insists that these allegations are designed to cast doubt, cause embarrassment, and discourage her from fulfilling her oath to serve the nation. Duterte remains steadfast in her dedication to the education and future of Filipino children, which she sees as endangered by corruption, crime, illegal drugs, and terrorism.
Duterte expressed her appreciation for the unwavering support of those who have remained skeptical of the attacks and have chosen to ignore them. She reminded the public that the motivations behind these attacks are rooted in personal and political agendas, not the interests of the country or the Filipino people.
