Bureau of Customs Enhances Batangas Education with Book Donation
Today, in a heartwarming display of support for education, the Bureau of Customs handed over 21 boxes of assorted academic books to the Provincial Government of Batangas. The donation, which includes a variety of books for preschool and high school students, was made during the Flag Raising Ceremony at the provincial capitol.
Governor Hermilando “Dodo” Mandanas expressed his profound gratitude towards Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio for this generous contribution. Although Commissioner Rubio could not attend, Port of Batangas District Collector Atty. Ma. Rhea M. Gregorio represented him at the event, ensuring the handover of these vital educational resources.
The books are set to enrich the Batangas Library’s collection, providing young learners with enhanced opportunities for learning and growth. This initiative by the Bureau of Customs is a testament to their commitment to the community and underscores the importance of supporting educational programs.
Governor Mandanas and the people of Batangas are deeply appreciative of this gesture, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the education of the province’s youth.
