April 21, 2024 - Paris Olympic-bound gymnasts Carlos Edriel Yulo and Levi Jung-Ruivivar have made a remarkable performance at the 2024 International Gymnastics Federation’s Doha World Cup in Qatar.
Carlos Yulo, who has previously demonstrated his mastery on the international stage, secured the gold medal in the parallel bars final. His stellar performance, earning a score of 15.200, catapulted him to the top of the leaderboard, ahead of competitors from Chinese Taipei and Brazil. Earlier in the competition, Yulo showcased his versatility by clinching the silver medal in the men’s vault final.
Meanwhile, Levi Jung-Ruivivar brought home a silver in the Uneven Bars. Her performance on Uneven Bars at the 2024 FIG World Cup – Baku qualifications finished with a score of 13.466, landing her 6th place and a qualification spot in the Finals.
Their excellent performance in the Doha World Cup is a significant milestone in their preparation for the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics. The Summer Olympics are scheduled to take place from 26 July to 11 August 2024 in France, with Paris as the main host city.
