The teachers of Cavite Science Integrated School (CVSCI) proudly shared their best practices that led the school to achieve the Top 2 position in the Grade 10 National Achievement Test (NAT).
According to the teachers of CSIS, they focused their attention on the mastery of competencies of the students through hands-on activities, additional learning materials, pre and post-tests, and other learning stimulations that greatly helped their students.
In addition to regular classroom learning, the teachers of CVSCI also valued the assessment of the learners’ competencies. They believe that through this, they can focus on the subjects or areas that the children do not fully understand.
CVSCI School Head Esterlita M. Dolatre praised the teachers in their school who tirelessly teach and innovate to ensure the quality of education in their school.
“Continue to put your heart into teaching and meticulously instruct the students of CVSCI. The success of the students is also the success of the teacher, which can be considered the success of our school,” said Mrs. Dolatre.
In preparation for the next NAT, the teachers of CVSCI laid out their plans to further enhance the knowledge of the students. For most teachers, they will strengthen the most essential learning competencies (MELCs) and make the lessons and activities more enjoyable so that the learners will be more active in answering them.
