Jose Dominic F. Clavano IV: A Leader to Watch
Born on March 9, 1991, Clavano obtained his law degree from the Ateneo de Manila University’s Law School and passed the 2018 bar examinations. He also completed his pre-law at Ateneo with a degree in Management Economics (2009-2014), minor in Global Politics (2013-2014). He joined the government in 2019 as an associate solicitor at the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG), the government’s law firm.
In August 2022, Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin C. Remulla appointed Clavano as the spokesperson of the Department of Justice (DOJ). As the DOJ spokesperson, Clavano is authorized to make public statements and issue press releases on behalf of the Secretary of Justice on all matters concerning the activities of the DOJ.
