The Maharlika Investment Corp. (MIC), the state-owned company that manages the Philippines’ first sovereign wealth fund, has unveiled its new logo, sparking a wave of discussion.

April 19, 2024 - The new logo, inspired by the Philippine Eagle, symbolizes the strength, focus, and enduring power necessary to elevate the country. It also pays homage to the Philippine flag with elements reflecting the sovereign wealth fund’s commitment to building benefits for future generations of the Philippines.

The logo features three stars representing Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, along with a central sun that symbolizes national unity and the fund’s reach across the country. The bold red, blue, and yellow colors, reminiscent of the Philippine flag, showcase respect for faith and country.
