NBI Seizes PHP 6 Million Worth of Fake Procter & Gamble Products

April 18, 2024 - The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has seized PHP 6 million worth of counterfeit Procter & Gamble products in a major operation.

On April 15, the NBI-Intellectual Property Rights Division (NBI-IPRD) executed three search warrants against a warehouse in Canumay East, Valenzuela City, and two stalls in the 168 Shopping Mall in Manila. This operation resulted in the seizure of 110,776 pieces of assorted Procter & Gamble products, valued at PHP 6,000,000.00.

The NBI’s successful operation underscores its commitment to protecting intellectual property rights and combating the distribution of counterfeit goods. The seized items are now under the custody of the NBI-IPRD for further investigation and appropriate legal action.
