PH-US Pilots Hone Air Combat Skills in Cope Thunder 24-1
April 16, 2024 - Pilots from the Philippine Air Force and the United States Air Force have been sharpening their aerial combat skills as part of the Cope Thunder 24-1 exercise. The training involved Air Combat Maneuvers (ACM) flown in FA-50 and F-16 aircraft over an intensive military training area located west of Zambales.

The ACM training is a critical component of the Flight Integration Training (FTI) exercise. This exercise is in preparation for the upcoming Large Force Employment (LFE) Missions for Balikatan 2024.
