Philippine Air Force Provides Free Transportation to Indigenous Students

May 11, 2024 - The Philippine Air Force (PAF), through its 710th Special Operations Wing (710TH SPOW), has been providing free transportation assistance to indigenous students for the past three years. This initiative aims to help students who face the challenge of walking long distances, approximately 7 kilometers, from Brgy Maruglo to Sta. Juliana High School in Capas, Tarlac.

The ongoing effort is designed to ensure the students’ safety while traveling to and from school, allowing them to focus more on their studies. It also seeks to inspire the students to persevere in their educational journey, ultimately empowering them to realize their full potential and achieve their academic goals.

This initiative underscores the PAF’s commitment not only to defending our skies but also to being bearers of hope and partners in national development. By providing this essential service, the PAF is making a significant contribution to improving the quality of life for these students and their communities.

The PAF’s commitment to this cause demonstrates its dedication to serving the Filipino people beyond its traditional military role. It is a testament to the PAF’s belief in the importance of education and its power to change lives and communities. This initiative is just one of the many ways the PAF is working to make a positive impact on the lives of Filipinos.
