June 08, 2024 - The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced the results of the March 3, 2024 Career Service Examination - Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for both Professional and Subprofessional levels.
Nationwide Pass Rate
- A total of 57,683 individuals passed the exam, representing a 17.20% success rate.
- 51,311 out of 297,952 examinees (17.22%) passed the Professional level.
- 6,372 out of 37,433 examinees (17.02%) passed the Subprofessional level.
Top Scorers Recognized
- Professional Level: Viron Gil A. Estrada (NCR) achieved the highest score with 97.30.
- Subprofessional Level: Mia Kimberly F. Noche (Southern Luzon) topped the list with a score of 97.24.
Regional Performance
- Southern Tagalog achieved the highest passing rate at 23.36%.
- NCR followed closely with a 23.30% passing rate.
- Central Luzon, Cagayan Valley, and Cordillera Administrative Region rounded out the top performers.
Access to Results and Eligibility
- The complete list of passers is available on the CSC website (csc.gov.ph).
- Both successful and unsuccessful examinees can generate their results through the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System.
- The CSC Regional Office will provide details on claiming the Certification of Eligibility.
Eligibility Explained
- Passing the Professional level grants the Career Service Professional Eligibility, valid for first-level (clerical) and some second-level (technical) government positions.
- The Career Service Subprofessional Eligibility applies only to first-level positions.
- Meeting eligibility requirements doesn't guarantee appointment; education, experience, and other qualifications are also considered.
