Attention all Schools with Senior High School Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) Tracks!
This is an important announcement regarding a great opportunity for your graduating SHS TVL students (School Year 2023-2024). The Department of Education (DepEd), in collaboration with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), is offering a free assessment and certification program.
This program aims to ensure the quality and validate the skills of TVL graduates, ultimately enhancing their job readiness.
What this means for your Graduates:
- Free National Competency Assessment and Certification in their chosen TVL specialization.
- Increased Job Market Value: A TESDA certification demonstrates competency and increases their appeal to potential employers.

What Schools Need to Do (Urgently!)
To ensure your graduates can participate, DepEd requires all Regional Offices (ROs) to submit a list of graduating TVL students by Monday, May 27, 2024.
Here's How to Submit the List:
- Data Collection: Use the provided template (Annex A) to compile a list of your graduating TVL students, including their names and specializations.
- Electronic Format: Submit the completed list electronically with a signed transmittal from your Regional Director.
- Email: Send the electronic file to DR. LEILA P. AREOLA, Director IV, Bureau of Learning Delivery at bld.od@deped.gov.ph.
- File Naming: Use the following format: RegionZZZ_shstvlgrads (Replace ZZZ with your Region Code).
- Email Subject: Use: listofshstvigrad_regionZZZ (Replace ZZZ with your Region Code).
Additional Information:
- The TVL Regional and Division Supervisors will monitor school and teacher compliance.
- The Bureau of Learning Delivery (BLD) will track regional submissions.
- All student information will be treated with strict confidentiality.
