Fresh CPAs to Take Oath in Face-to-Face Ceremony

June 28, 2024 - Newly minted Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) are set to take their oath in a face-to-face ceremony on July 29, 2024, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

The ceremony, scheduled for 1:00 PM at the PICC Reception Hall, marks a return to in-person oathtaking after what appears to be a shift back to traditional ceremonies following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Registration and Attendance

Successful CPA licensure examinees interested in attending the ceremony must register online at https://www.prc.gov.ph/ before noon of July 28th. They are also required to print their oath form with the generated QR code, which will be used to confirm their attendance.

Alternative Oathtaking Options

For those unable to attend the face-to-face ceremony, the announcement mentions online oathtaking and special oathtaking arrangements. Details on these options will be posted at a later date.

Following the oathtaking ceremony, new CPAs must complete their initial registration by securing an online appointment through the PRC website.
