June 12, 2024 - While Executive Order No. 61 (S. 2024) suspends some performance management systems, the government assures qualified employees that their 2022 and 2023 performance-based bonuses (PBB) will still be disbursed.
The EO aims to streamline the Results-Based Performance Management System (RBPMS) and PBI System. This review seeks to improve efficiency and timeliness in awarding incentives. Adjustments may be made for the 2023 PBB disbursement. Budget allocation for the 2024 performance-based incentives (PEI) remains unaffected, and the FY 2025 PEI is included in the national budget plans.
