PDIC Issues Urgent Reminder to Depositors of the Closed Rural Bank of Cuyo (Palawan), Inc.

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) has issued an urgent reminder to all depositors of the now-closed Rural Bank of Cuyo (Palawan), Inc. This reminder is specifically for those depositors who have account balances of P500,000 and below.

The PDIC is urging these depositors to submit their Mailing Address Update Forms (MAUF) on or before Wednesday, 19 June 2024. The submission of this form is crucial as it will ensure that the depositors receive timely updates and information from the PDIC.

Depositors have two options for submitting their MAUF:
  1. Depositors can physically drop off their completed forms at the bank premises. A dropbox has been made available for this purpose.
  2. Alternatively, depositors can send a scanned copy of the completed MAUF and a valid ID via e-mail to cuyorb-pad@pdic.gov.ph.
The MAUF is readily available at the bank premises for those who wish to pick it up. For those who prefer digital access, the form can be downloaded for free from the Downloadable Forms section under the Depositors’ Corner of the PDIC website.

The PDIC has taken these measures to ensure that all depositors of the closed Rural Bank of Cuyo (Palawan), Inc. are kept informed and updated. The corporation understands the importance of clear and open communication, especially in times of transition and change.

For more detailed information, depositors are encouraged to visit the PDIC website. The corporation remains committed to safeguarding the rights and interests of its depositors and continues to work towards maintaining trust and confidence in the country’s banking system.
