Philippine Government Proposes Php 6.352 Trillion Budget for FY 2025

Pangandaman unveiled the proposed national budget for fiscal year 2025.   2. Economic Transformation: By transforming production sectors, the government seeks to generate more quality jobs and enhance the competitiveness of Philippine products in the global market.

Evaluation Criteria and Attendees

DBM evaluated agency budget proposals for FY 2025 based on factors such as fiscal space, program readiness, and alignment with expenditure directions. The 188th DBCC Meeting, where the budget was discussed, was attended by key officials, including National Economic and Development Authority Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan, Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs Secretary Frederick D. Go, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Deputy Governor Francisco G. Dakila Jr., and Department of Finance Undersecretary Domini SD Velasquez.
