137 Pass Special Professional Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers Held Overseas

July 05, 2024 - The results of the Special Professional Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (SPLEPT) held last June 18, 2024 in various overseas testing centers have been released. A total of 137 out of 274 examinees (50.00%) passed the exam for elementary education, while 252 out of 478 examinees (52.72%) passed for secondary education.

The testing centers included Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Al Ahmadi in Kuwait, Al-Khobar, Jeddah, and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, Doha in Qatar, Manama in Bahrain, and Singapore.

For successful examinees who wish to register:

The announcement included information on the registration process for new teachers. Registration requirements include a downloaded and completed Oath Form, notice of admission, passport-sized pictures, documentary stamps, and a short brown envelope. It is important to note that successful examinees should personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
