July 01, 2024 - In an effort to expand access to zero-interest loans for farmers and agribusinesses, the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) distributed ₱143 million in funds under the Survival and Recovery (SURE) and Agrinegosyo (ANYO) Loan Programs.
The loan funds were distributed to the following lending conduits during the recent Presidential Visit in San Jose, Antique:
- Hamtic Multi-Purpose Cooperative – ₱75 million
- Libertad Multi-Purpose Cooperative – ₱5 million
- Valderrama Multi-Purpose Cooperative – ₱5 million
- Rural Bank of Miagao, Iloilo – ₱10 million
- Rural Bank of Calinog, Iloilo – ₱48 million
These loans will enable farmers and agribusinesses to purchase agricultural inputs, equipment, and other necessities to boost their productivity and profitability.

The SURE and ANYO Loan Programs are part of the DA’s efforts to implement the Rice Tariffication Law (RTL) and to promote inclusive and sustainable agricultural development.
