July 01, 2024 - The Department of Education (DepEd) is fully supporting the celebration of the 50th Nutrition Month, with the theme "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!" (Together in the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition: Ensuring Adequate Nutrition for All!).
This year's celebration highlights the importance of the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) 2023-2028 and the need for strong multi-sectoral support to achieve its goal of eliminating all forms of malnutrition in the country.
As part of the 2024 Nutrition Month campaign, DepEd is calling on all Regional and Schools Division Offices, including schools, to join hands and show their support for PPAN.
