DepEd Opens Learners' Convergence Philippines (LearnCon PH) 2024

July 09, 2024 - The Department of Education (DepEd) officially kicked off the Learners' Convergence Philippines (LearnCon PH) 2024 today, July 9, in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

Youth leaders from all over the country gathered with smiles on their faces, eager to learn new things during the week-long #LearnConPH2024 program.

"Each one of you has a unique perspective that can drive change, inspire innovation, and foster a more dynamic and relevant education system. To achieve these, we must ensure that you have a platform that enables you to participate in the education process, this convergence is one of the platforms," said Vice President and Secretary of Education Sara Z. Duterte.

Also today, the LearnCon Booth Festival ribbon cutting ceremony was held, where regions, government agencies, and external partners showcased their products and services.

LearnCon PH is an annual program under the Bureau of Learners Support Services - Youth Formation Division (BLSS-YFD), which aims to unite students, youth leaders, and education stakeholders to develop programs that will help in the development of youth and their communities.
