July 09, 2024 - Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian welcomed a significant donation today at the Pag-Abot Program's newly established processing center in Pasay City. The donation, comprising 50 cases of 350ml bottled water and 40 cases of 350ml electrolyte drinks, was generously provided by the Lee Wong Yuk Kam Foundation and Pacific Synergy Food & Beverage Corp.
Among those present during the turnover ceremony were Atty. Ryan Co, Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs of Pacific Synergy Food & Beverage Corp.; Ms. Katherine Serrano, Legal and Corporate Affairs Associate of Pacific Synergy Food & Beverage Corp.; DSWD Undersecretary for Innovations Edu Punay; Special Assistant to the Secretary (SAS) for Innovations Marcelo Nicomedes Castillo; and Social Technology Bureau (STB) Assistant Director Marilyn Moral.
The donated bottled water and electrolyte drinks are earmarked for distribution among clients of the Pag-Abot Program, reflecting a crucial support initiative for communities in need.
