The hearing revealed a lack of coordination between agencies responsible for implementing these programs, including the Department of Health (DOH), the National Nutrition Council (NNC), and the Early Childhood Care and Development Council (ECCD).
EDCOM2 Commissioner and Senator Win Gatchalian emphasized the urgency of addressing this issue, stating, "Once a child is stunted by the time they enter school, it's game over."
