July 07, 2024 - The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) are making things easier for Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries! They're extending a program that allows beneficiaries to get authenticated through their National IDs during Family Development Sessions (FDS).
This is great news for 4Ps beneficiaries because it means:
- Convenience: No need for separate trips! You can get authenticated during your regular FDS sessions.
- Faster Processing: Fingerprint scanning makes authentication quick and easy.
- Security: National ID verification ensures benefits go to the right people.
- More Benefits: During FDS, you can also register for a National ID and get your ePhilID.
Here's how it works:
- Attend your regular FDS session.
- PSA staff will be there to scan your fingerprint and match it with your National ID registry.
- Each successful authentication counts as attendance to your FDS.
The program has already been a success!
As of June 14, 2024, over 2 million 4Ps beneficiaries have been successfully authenticated through their National IDs. PSA has deployed personnel nationwide, including remote areas, to make sure everyone can participate.
