President Marcos, speaking through his official X account (formerly Twitter), conveyed relief upon learning that Trump emerged unharmed from the incident.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family,” President Marcos stated, emphasizing the Philippines' condemnation of all forms of political violence.
He further underscored the global solidarity against such acts, reaffirming that "the voice of the people must always remain supreme."
Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, reportedly sustained a minor injury after being grazed by a bullet during the rally on July 13. US authorities are actively investigating the incident.
