Philippine Rowers Shine with 18 Medals at Southeast Asian Championships

July 02, 2024 - The Philippine Rowing Team made waves at the recent Southeast Asian Rowing Federation Championships 2024 in Hai Phong, Vietnam, bringing home a remarkable 18 medals!

Leading the charge with a golden performance was:

  • Kristine Paraon (Women's Single Sculls)

Five rowers secured silver medals:

  • Cris Nievarez (Men's Single Sculls)
  • Edgar Ilas & Zuriel Sumintac (Lightweight Men's Pair)
  • Tammy Sha & Feliza Lenton (Lightweight Women's Double Sculls)
  • U23 Men's Quadruple Sculls
  • U19 Women's Four

Adding to the team's success were twelve bronze medals:

  • James Lantong (Lightweight Men's Single Sculls)
