July 02, 2024 - The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has begun nationwide training for enumerators who will be collecting crucial household data for the 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS).
PSA National Statistician and Civil Registrar General Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. "I urge you to be mindful in your work and make sure that we get recent, accurate data for our local-level and national-level planning," Usec. Mapa stressed. "Our social protection programs will depend on the data that you collect."
The PSA's Regional and Provincial Statistical Offices will be conducting a series of training sessions for enumerators across the country. These sessions will run from July 1st to July 13th, 2024, equipping participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively gather household data.
Following the training period, the enumeration process for the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS is set to officially begin on July 15th, 2024.
