July 14, 2024 - The TikTok account @dswd2024 is spreading misinformation about a supposed "application" with the DSWD for cash, educational assistance, and scholarships. This is not true.
Report these fake TikTok accounts and share this information with your family, friends, and acquaintances.
These accounts are using the DSWD's "educational assistance" program to scam people. Their videos often contain stitched-together audio clips from online news reports. They may also include screen recordings of news broadcasts to make their claims seem legitimate.
Important Note: There is currently no specific timeline for the distribution of educational assistance. However, the DSWD has launched a revamped program called the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program.
