Scattered Rain Showers Expected for Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region Due to Easterlies, ITCZ

July 01, 2024 - The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) advises residents in Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region, Quezon, and Aurora to brace for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

These areas can expect cloudy skies with the possibility of moderate rains in the afternoon or evening. The rest of the country will experience fair weather with chances of isolated rain showers brought about by localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA assures there are no signs of tropical cyclone formation or entry within the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the next two to three days. Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are expected nationwide.
