July 10, 2024 - Senator Win Gatchalian is pressing for the appearance of top executives from Lucky South 99 Outsourcing Incorporated (Lucky South 99) at the next Senate hearing to investigate alleged illicit activities within Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hubs.
During a hearing on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, Senator Gatchalian named board members and incorporators of Lucky South 99, including Ronalyn Baterna, Michael Mascarenas, Stephanie Mascarenas, Rodrigo Banda, and Mr. Jing Gu. He emphasized concerns over potential interlocking directorates involving the Mascarenas family, who reportedly hold positions in both Lucky South 99 and Whirlwind Corp.
"It appears that these entities may operate as one entity. However, due to their absence, the truth remains elusive," Senator Gatchalian remarked.
The senator's call for the summons of these executives underscores ongoing efforts to scrutinize and address regulatory issues within the POGO industry.
