📌 What is the Basic Profile in DepEd LIS?

The Basic Profile includes essential student information, such as:

  • Last Name

  • First Name

  • Middle Name

  • Extension Name

  • Gender

  • Birthdate

If any of these fields are incorrect, the school may submit a correction request through the LIS portal.


🔧 Step-by-Step: How to Correct a Student’s Basic Profile in DepEd LIS

✅ Step 1: Access the Learner’s Profile

  1. Log in to the DepEd LIS using your ICT or adviser account.

  2. Go to the Profile of the student whose information needs updating.

  3. Click the three vertical dots (⋮) at the upper-right part of the profile section.

✅ Step 2: Select “Correct Basic Profile”

From the drop-down menu, click on “Correct Basic Profile”. This will open a form where editable fields are displayed alongside the current data.

✅ Step 3: Provide the Correct Information

  • Enter the correct data only in the fields that need to be changed.

    • Example: Change First Name from “Rain” to “Shine”.

  • Click the “Check” button after making corrections to validate the data.

✅ Step 4: Review and Submit the Request

  • Carefully review both the Old Data and New Data to ensure everything is accurate.

  • If correct, click the “Submit” button.

  • A message will appear indicating:
    “Change request submitted pending School Head’s approval.”

  • The request will now be pending approval from the School Head.

  • Once approved, the learner’s updated profile will be reflected in the LIS.

  • Click the “Close” button to complete the process.
